(Note: Our Social portal for flatmates and PGs operates independently of RERA requirements as it deals primarily with residential short-term and co-living rentals.)
How We Enforce Compliance
Mandatory RERA Verification
For all new projects and developments that fall under the purview of RERA, we require builders and developers to provide their valid RERA Registration Number. This number is prominently displayed on the property listing page to allow buyers to cross-verify the project details on the official state RERA website.
Agent Registration Verification
Real estate agents and brokers operating on Proptrik are required to submit their RERA Agent Registration Number before they can list properties or interact with buyers for RERA-registered projects. This ensures that you are dealing with authorized professionals.
Accurate Advertising & Information
We forbid the use of misleading marketing materials. Builders must ensure that the amenities, carpet area, possession timelines, and project descriptions listed on Proptrik exactly match the disclosures made to the RERA authority.
Disclaimer & Buyer Responsibility
While Proptrik takes extensive measures to ensure that listings contain valid RERA information, the ultimate responsibility for verifying the project's approvals, title, and RERA status remains with the buyer.
We strongly encourage all users to visit their respective state's official RERA portal and conduct thorough due diligence before making any financial commitments. Proptrik acts merely as an advertising and discovery platform and shall not be held liable for any discrepancies between a builder's claims and the actual project delivery.
